Hi Coach,

Are you looking for a workshop that will enhance your skills as a high school golf coach? Maybe learn some new ideas and drills that will help your team get to the next level?

If so, Then This Workshop Is For You!

Picture this scenario....
You’re on the driving range with your team before a big match when suddenly your #4 player develops a case of the shanks. Now, if that’s not enough, your #2 player can’t get the ball airborne and is hitting enough ground balls to have you thinking maybe he should be playing a different sport.

Now, You Know What’s Coming Next....

“Coach, what am I doing wrong”? Sound familiar?

Well if you’re like most coaches that Mike and I work with, you would be hard pressed to find the answer. Not to be cruel, just honest.

That’s Why This Workshop Is For You!....it’s been designed specifically for high school coaches and is a must attend if serious about coaching high school players.

Trust Me With What I’m About To Tell You....

We have conducted clinics and workshops from Missouri to South Carolina and everywhere in between.

You all have the same problems and concerns!...whether it be a lack of school support, budget restraints, a place to practice or just someone to turn to for help. The list is endless...until now.

When we started ten years ago doing clinics and workshops for Nike Golf Schools and Camps (we were the only two doing these nationwide), we believed then as we do now, that there was a need for a forum where high school and college coaches could come together for the purposes of exchanging ideas.

Just as important were that the workshops be presented by college coaches recognized at the top of their profession.

So What Makes Us So Qualified?

We have over 40 years experience working with high school and college players as well as coaches from all over the world...Spain, France, Canada, Germany, Japan, South Korea, South Africa and Sweden.

We have been fortunate to capture (23) conference team championships, coached (18) individual conference champions and appeared in (8) NCAA National Championships as well as hold (2) NCAA coaching records.

Our students have competed on every level of competition including the U.S. Amateur, British Amateur, PGA Tour, Futures Tour, Porter Cup, U.S. Open and NCAA National Championship. Several have won their state amateur championship (New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut) while others were victorious in winning their state high school championship(s).

Several of our former players are current college coaches including two-time NCAA "National Coach of the Year," Kevin Marsh.

Both Mike and myself serve as Director of Golf/Men’s Coach and Head Golf Professional/ Women’s Coach at McDaniel College, formerly known as Western Maryland College, in Westminster, MD. We also co-direct the National Golf Coaches Academy, conducting coaches workshops and clinics nationwide.

What Topics Will Be Discussed At The Workshop?

  • College Scholarships and Recruiting - Learn the facts and myths surrounding scholarship offers and how you can help your athletes and parents in the process.
  • Designing an Effective Practice Schedule - See how to get the most out of any practice session and stop it from becoming a “social gathering”
  • Practice Drills and Skills - Making your practices fun and interesting while still accomplishing team goals. You’ll learn some of the drills used by top tour players never seen on TV or in magazines.
  • Cause and Effect of Swing Mechanics - How to identify swing faults and cures even if you don’t play golf!...a simple $2.00 item does the trick and gives your players instant feedback.
  • Course Management - NO SUCH THING! It’s Mind Management. Learn what all top players do to manage their game and why average players stay average and never seem to get better.
  • Why Less Than 5% of High School Golfers Ever Play in College - Not my data but the NCAA’s…pretty interesting.
  • Possibility vs Probability In Shot Selection - Why it’s so hard and how you can help your players understand the difference. When they do their scores drop dramatically!
  • Recruiting Services - Save your athletes and their parents a ton of money!
  • How to Play a Practice Round - You may be surprised with this one…even the majority of college players have no idea. Learn how top players do it and what they look for during their PR.
  • Tournament vs Recreational Player - Understanding the thought process of a tournament player and how he thinks and prepares for competition. Think your players are doing it?
  • G.E.D. - It doesn’t stand for what you think. Goals-Expectations-Dreams. Your players as well as yourself MUST and WILL know the difference and how to meet them. Pivotal for your success or lack thereof.
  • How To Deal With Difficult Parents - What all coaches live for!...we’ll show you ways to stop it before it ever starts.
  • Private Swing Coaches -How to work and communicate with them in the best interest of your player.
  • How To Get Your Team Ready For The BIG Match - You’ll learn the 7 P’s to Success.
